Are you in need of "live" musical entertainment for an upcoming special event? Are you planning a party, wedding, tea, anniversary reception, banquet, grand-opening celebration, convention, fund-raiser, family reunion, class reunion, company picnic, or promoting your retail business with "live" music for a special holiday or event? Whatever the occasion may be, when it's important that you feel confident about the "atmosphere," I can furnish your "live" music, whether it is for a small intimate setting or at a function for many.

Easy-listening music is not the only style of music that I play. Besides being available as a solo instrumentalist, I also work with other musicians and vocalists, depending upon the event and your needs.

If a band who entertains with a wide variety of soft love ballads, classic country, rock-a-billy, and/or classic rock-and-roll of the 50's and 60's through the 70's and 80's era is more what you have in mind, I have the answer for that, too. I am keyboardist and band leader for recording artist Jimmy Orrell and Blue West Band of Monticello, AR, and we are available as a duo, 3-piece, or full 5-piece band act for private parties and special events in the North Louisiana, South Arkansas, West Mississippi, and East Texas region. I began playing the piano "by ear" at the early age of 5, although I eventually had a couple years of piano training. By age 9, I was playing for weddings in my hometown community near Bastrop, LA.

I participated in many on-stage performances in the gospel and country music fields over the years, and in 1986-87 I was the official pianist/accompanist for Miss Louisiana 1986 Amanda Mainord-Reeves. Over the years I have made numerous appearances for various events, and beginning in 1988 I became keyboard player for the Dixie Jamboree stage band at the nostalgic Dixie Theater in Ruston, LA, where I entertained for almost five years. During that same time I also began providing dinner music for The Cafeteria in Ruston for three years, and for eleven years following that was the keyboard entertainer for Maxwell's Restaurant in Ruston, LA, affiliated with the Holiday Inn and Ramada Inn. During a portion of that time and currently, I provide old-timey piano music at a three-star restaurant called The Warehouse Number One in Monroe Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights when not booked for other personal appearances.

I entertain for Dillard's at Monroe's Pecanland Mall and for Lewis' in Ruston, LA, for holidays and special events, even traveling to Nashville to play for a couple of the Dillard's stores. Among other events, I am called upon annually by several corporate companies for their special functions and parties. I have entertained nationally known celebrities, governors, senators, and other elected officials over the years, and entertain for church banquets and senior citizen events.
